Baby Step 1: Part 2

Some folks just don’t want to understand it. 🀣

You work the steps in order!! The first 4 are about intensity. The second 3 are about intentionality.

Baby steps 1, 2, 3, and 3b are done one at a time till completion, consecutively. Baby steps 4,5, and 6 can be done simultaneously but prioritized by order when considering dollar amounts.

1. Get a starter emergency fund of $1,000 saved

2. Pay off all debt except the mortgage using the debt snowball and budgeting with @everydollar

3. Save 3-6 months of expenses (your basic budget, not the bells and whistles)

3b. Save for a home down payment (shoot for 20%)

4. *For the first time* Invest 15% each month for retirement

5. Start saving for kids' college

6. Start paying off your mortgage

7. GIVE like no one else!!

This reel was just to poke fun. I am happy to teach this message until the cow comes home!! And they better come home as debt-free, Millionaires!!!!! πŸ„πŸ€ πŸ’°πŸ€£
